The New Mexico State University Foundation has announced recipients of 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards.
Each year during NMSU’s Homecoming weekend, the NMSU Foundation celebrates a select group of outstanding alumni through the Distinguished Alumni Awards, the James F. Cole Memorial Award for Service and the Young Alumni Service Award. The 2025 Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony will be Nov. 7, at the Las Cruces Convention Center.
Honorees are Edward Avalos, agricultural, consumer and environmental sciences; Cynthia Bejarano, James F. Cole Memorial Award for Service; Michael Cano, arts and sciences; Joe Christian, business; Dawn Gelino, arts and sciences; Frank Kozeliski, engineering; Aisha Jones, health, education and social transformation; and Keagan Karnes, young alumni service award.
