Celebrity Pig Show fundraiser set

This year, the Cheyenne County 4-H Council will host the 10th annual Celebrity Pig Show at the Cheyenne County Tumbleweed Fair, July 17 to 25, in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado.

Each year, the community comes together to generously donate money in support of a local community member. With their valued partnership, Nutrien Ag Solutions sponsors the awards for the show each year. To date, the event has raised more than $22,000 for individuals in the community. A total of 96 different participants has taken part in the show over the years, each bringing their own special style and energy to the show.

The Cheyenne County 4-H Council is working to select this year’s recipient. To nominate a person, group or business to participate in this year’s show contact Lisa Scheler, Cheyenne County 4-H leader adviser.
