Oklahoma landowners can apply for invasive woody species cost-share 

The Oklahoma Conservation Commission has launched a cost-share program to help qualifying landowners manage invasive woody species on agricultural land. 

The Invasive Woody Species Cost-Share Program is available to eligible landowners within designated program boundaries. Applicants must implement and maintain conservation practices outlined in their invasive woody species conservation plan. 

Eligible landowners must have at least 20 acres and be managing pastures with overgrown trees such as Eastern redcedar, saltcedar, or mesquite.  

The application window opened Sept. 1 and will close Nov. 1. The commission’s land management division will review, score and rank applications. Landowners will be contacted if their applications are approved.
