Schuetze re-elected to American Simmental Association Board of Trustees

Fred Schuetze of Granbury, Texas, has been re-elected to the American Simmental Association Board of Trustees and will continue to represent the South Central region.

Buzzard Hollow Ranch runs 800 Full Fleckvieh Simmental, Simbrah, and SimAngus cattle, all with a Fleckvieh base. Females are sold through an annual production sale each May and bulls are sold through an annual production sale each January. Cattle are sold private treaty year-round and embryos and semen are sold domestically and internationally. Schuetze served on the ASA Board of Trustees from 1999 to 2006, and during that time, was a member of the Executive Committee and treasurer of the Board.

He was re-elected in 2014 and currently serves on the Executive Committee and as treasurer of the Board. Since 2000, Schuetze has served as an ASA representative for the World Simmental Fleckvieh Federation and currently serves as president. He has been a speaker at Simmental and agricultural events around the world, as well as within the U.S.

He and his wife Judy have two children Freddie (Bud) and JoAnna Keel.
