Subsoil moisture supplies rated 24 percent very short, 38 short, 38 adequate, and 0 surplus.
Winter wheat condition rated 9 percent very poor, 12 poor, 55 fair, 24 good, and 0 excellent.
The next monthly report (for February) will be issued Feb. 26. Weekly reports will begin April 2 for the 2018 season.
