Doniphan County chair is recruiter of the month

Jeremiah Harring of Leona, who serves as Doniphan County Kansas Livestock Association chairman, earned KLA Recruiter of the Month honors for January. Harring signed up three new members. He will receive a $50 Cabela’s gift card for this accomplishment and be entered in a grand prize drawing at the KLA Convention in November.

The 2018 KLA Top Hand Contest, exclusively sponsored by John Deere, is off to a strong start, with 18 individuals and county committees already signing up a grand total of 25 new members in this year’s competition. Wayne Carpenter of Brewster is in the lead with four recruits. Harring is tied with Becky Farha from Yates Center for second place.
