The Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Nebraska, reported receipts of 7,110 head selling on March 15, compared to 5,625 head last year, according to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Kearney, Nebraska.
No comparison to a week ago, due to no feeder sale. Demand was good on all cattle offered. Steers accounted for 50% and heifer 50% of the offering. Weights over 600 pounds made up 82% of the offering.
