Upper Arkansas Regional Advisory Committee meeting set May in Garden City
The Kansas Water Office’s Upper Arkansas Regional Advisory Committee will have a meeting to discuss regional goals and priorities.
The meeting will be Tuesday, May 8 at 1 p.m., in the Finnup Center for Education, Lee Richardson Zoo in Garden City, Kansas. The agenda includes a review of the final State of the Resource Report and additional outreach planning. There will also be several other points of discussion including the Garden City Water Conservation Field Day, Industry outreach, a WaterSMART Grant Opportunity, and updates on the Forest Service Tamarisk study, drought conditions, LEMAs and legislation and funding.
