Sleichter wins GoBob scholarship

Riley Sleichter of Abilene has been awarded the seventh annual GoBob Pipe & Steel/Kansas Livestock Foundation Cattlemen’s Scholarship. Sleichter, the son of Jeff and Meredith Sleichter, will be a sophomore at Kansas State University this fall. He is pursuing a degree in agricultural engineering.

The GoBob scholarship is awarded to a student entering or returning to a Kansas community or senior college and pursuing a degree in agriculture or a related field. Funding for the award was generated through the purchase of GoBob products by KLA members, plus proceeds from the auction of a Hay Monster bale feeder at the 2017 KLA Convention. GoBob is a distributor of farming supplies, such as steel pipe and gates, corral and fencing materials and heavy-duty equipment.
