Kansas Farm Bureau endorses Colyer/Mann campaign for governor
The Kansas Farm Bureau today announced their endorsement of Governor Colyer and Lt. Governor Tracey Mann in the 2018 gubernatorial race at a farm in Berryton, Kansas.
Gov. Colyer and Lt. Gov. Mann thanked the farm bureau for their support and pledged to continue working closely with the ag community.
"We are very pleased to receive such a meaningful endorsement from an organization that is so closely tied with our state’s agriculture community," said Gov. Colyer, "From expanding the reach of Kansas agricultural products in foreign markets to investing in precision ag and UAV technology, my administration will work closely with the Farm Bureau to ensure that the farm community always has a voice in Topeka."
"When we looked at the current landscape in the governor’s race, it was clear the Governor Colyer and Lt. Governor Mann were the team with the most solid commitment to the needs of our agricultural and farming community," said Kansas Farm Bureau President Rich Felts.
"As fifth-generation Kansans and sons of the 1st District, Gov. Colyer and I know the vital role that agriculture plays in Kansas and we are proud to work with ag leaders to ensure that the state is in tune with the needs of the farming community," said Lt. Governor Mann.
Kansas Farm Bureau is a non-profit advocacy organization established in 1919. Almost 100 years later, KFB stands up for its members through leadership development, agriculture education, legal defense, environmental advocacy, farm safety, risk management, rural development and international trade.
