Corn condition rated 10 percent very poor, 17 poor, 27 fair, 39 good, and 7 excellent. Corn dough was 92 percent, near 88 last year and 89 for the five-year average. Dented was 71 percent, ahead of 55 last year and 54 average. Mature was 23 percent, ahead of 13 last year and 11 average. Harvested was 2 percent, near 1 average.
Soybean condition rated 4 percent very poor, 13 poor, 34 fair, 41 good, and 8 excellent. Soybeans setting pods was 89 percent, near 87 last year, and ahead of 79 average. Dropping leaves was 4 percent, near 3 last year and 2 average.
