Pratt 3 p.m. livestock auction report

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kansas, Sept. 13, reported estimated receipts of 2,500 head as of 3 p.m., according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News, Dodge City, Kansas.

Compared to a week ago, the feeder steers weighing 750 to 800 pounds were steady to $4 higher and those 800 to 850 pounds were steady to $2 higher with a higher undertone noted on all other comparable weights. Due to very limited heifer offerings the previous week, the feeder heifers had instances of $7 to $9 higher on few comparable weights, with 750 to 800 pounds selling $10 higher.
