Ericson Livestock Auction report
The Ericson Livestock Auction, Ericson, Nebraska, reported receipts of 1,605 head selling on Sept. 15, compared to 616 head last year, according to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Kearney, Nebraska.
This was the first reported sale in three weeks so a trend is not applicable. Demand was good from the buyers in the crowd with internet activity noticed. The calf and feeder supply included 60% steers and 40% heifers with near 94% of the run weighing over 600 pounds.
