Joplin feeder cattle sale results
Joplin Regional Stockyards, Carthage, Missouri, reported receipts of 5,452 head selling a week ago, 11,387 head trading March 8 and 1,724 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, Jefferson City, Missouri.
Compared to a week ago, feeder steers and heifers were selling steady with moderate supply and demand. Supply included: 100% feeder cattle (51% steers, 48% heifers, 1% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 48%.
