San Angelo feeder cattle sale results

Producers Livestock Cattle Auction, San Angelo, Texas, reported receipts of 463 head selling a week ago and 1,057 head trading June 24, according to USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas.

Compared to a week ago, steer and heifer calves and yearlings were selling steady. Trading and demand were moderate. Scattered rain showers throughout the area reduced receipts. Supply included: 81% feeder cattle (40% steers, 46% heifers, 14% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 37%.
