Each system utilizes ground heat that allows the water in the tub to be constantly warmed or cooled by the surrounding underground temperatures.
As it is a buried system, concrete is not required. Drinking height can be established at 10 to 20 inches. Two sizes of Cobett waterers are available with three standard sizes of base tube options, with more options of base tubes. Cobett offers three different pressure valves and one gravity flow valve to suit different operations. Cobett’s open drinking area allows new and young livestock to begin drinking. Cobett waterers are black in color and have a round design and has an UV-inhibited polyethylene, heavy duty, solid wall thickness—1 inch for the large model and 3/4 inch for the small model. The expected lifespan of a Cobett waterer could be 40 years or more.
