Lifetime Feed Bunks, manufactured by CPI Pipe and Steel, Yukon, Oklahoma, have a design built with lifetime material and the craftsmanship to ensure a bunk that will last. The company uses heavy 24-, 26- and 30-inch steel pipe. CPI splits them in half and grinds the edges smooth. Then it saddle cuts and welds on 8 5/8-inch pipe crosswise for the legs that work like skids.
CPI Pipe is a family owned and operated steel pipe business serving customers nationwide for over 30 years. The company specializes in large diameter steel pipe ranging in sizes from 10 to 48 inches. CPI Pipe purchased 210,000 feet of 26-inch pipe in July 2000 and a year later marketed its first Lifetime Feed Bunk. In the last 18 years CPI Pipe and Steel has sold over 20,000 bunks nationwide and have hundreds of satisfied customers who continue to purchase the bunks adding on to their cattle operations.
