Cash bids mixed

Compared to last week, cash bids for were mostly mixed for wheat, corn, sorghum and soybeans according to USDA reported prices, Nov. 16.

For the week ending Nov. 11, an increase of 206,675 metric tons of corn inspected and weighed for export was reported while a decrease of 836,521 metric tons of soybeans were inspected and weighed. Wheat inspected and weighed for export showed an increase of 137,291 metric tons. Sorghum inspected and weighed for export reported a decrease of 201 metric tons.

Ethanol production for the week ending Nov. 5, had a decrease at 1,039,000 barrels a day.

Wheat was up 15 cents to down 15 1/4 cents. Corn was down 5 1/2 cents. Sorghum was down 5 1/2 cents. Soybeans were up 6 to down 6 cents.

In the futures close, Kansas City December wheat was $8.20 3/4.

Terminal wheat bids, paid for truck delivery, included Kansas City, unavailable; Minneapolis, unavailable; Portland, $10.75 to $11.50, up 15 cents to unchanged; St. Louis, unavailable.

Terminal corn bids, U.S. No. 2 yellow, price paid for truck deliver, included: Kansas City, $5.81 to $5.96, down 5 1/2 cents; Minneapolis, $5.43 to $5.63, down 9 1/2 to 5 1/2 cents; southern Iowa, $5.49 to $5.57, up 8 1/2 to down 5 1/2 cents; Omaha, $5.37 to $5.63, down 3 1/2 to up 3 1/2 cents.

Terminal soybean bids, U.S. No. 1, price paid for truck delivery, included: Kansas City, $12.51 1/4 to $12.71 1/4, down 6 cents; Minneapolis, $12.21 1/4 to $12.31 1/4, down 6 cents; southern Iowa, $12.30 1/4 to $12.40 1/4, up 6 to 8 cents; central Illinois processors, $12.56 1/4 to $12.66 1/4, up 6 to down 6 cents.
