USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service reported the following wheat crop conditions for late December 2021:
Kansas: Winter wheat condition rated 8% very poor, 17% poor, 42% fair, 30% good, and 3% excellent.
Nebraska: Winter wheat condition rated 8% very poor, 11% poor, 42% fair, 37% good, and 2% excellent.
South Dakota: Winter wheat condition rated 2% very poor, 11% poor, 49% fair, 37% good, and 1% excellent.
New Mexico: Winter wheat condition rated 5% very poor, 24% poor, 30% fair, 25% good, and 16% excellent.
Wyoming: Winter wheat condition rated 9% very poor, 33% poor, 42% fair, 16% good, and 0% excellent.
Montana: Winter wheat condition rated 16% very poor, 55% poor, 17% fair, 12% good, and 0% excellent.
Colorado: Winter wheat condition rated 19% very poor, 25% poor, 36% fair, 18% good, and 2% excellent.
Oklahoma: Winter wheat condition rated 8% very poor, 17% poor, 42% fair, 30% good, and 3% excellent.
