High Plains Journal received a Longevity Award for 60 consecutive years of having a booth at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Receiving the award were circulation field representatives Ron Good and Monte Rambat. They received the award on Sept. 13.

“We were thrilled to be recognized by the state fair board and staff and it was appropriate that Ron and Monte were there to receive the award,” said Editor Dave Bergmeier. “Ron and Monte are out front at many events over the years and they eagerly look forward to the state fair.”

“Sixty years is a significant milestone,” Bergmeier noted, “and HPJ is proud to be associated with the Kansas State Fair because it brings the entire agricultural community together where friends reunite and new friends are made.”
