The Colorado State University Extension office of Weld County continues to welcome registrants for the first Colorado Women in Ag Conference. The conference will take place Nov. 17 beginning at 3 p.m. with a welcome from Colorado Commissioner of Agriculture Kate Greenburg. Speaker sessions and conference events will conclude on Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. Join us on your way in and out of town to do that last minute Thanksgiving shopping.

Speaker presentation topics range from how to enroll in Farm Service Agency programs to cattle handling and on-farm data use. The conference welcomes a diverse group of women speakers, all experts in a wide variety of sectors within agriculture. Speakers and conference sessions will be focused on usable information based in real-world experience in Colorado. All the wonderful speakers are based in Colorado as either producers, agency experts, or both. The lived experiences of each speaker can offer a unique insight on how to best build, maintain, or improve attendees’ knowledge and operations.

The Colorado Women in Ag Conference will be held at Island Grove Regional Park Event Center in Greeley. Conference events will be held Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon. All are welcome to register and attend. For more information and to register, please visit coloradowomeninag.weld.gov or call the CSU Extension-Weld County office at 970-400-2075.
