Dairy producers and industry supporters will celebrate the end of 2023 and plan for a successful 2024 programming season at the Women in Dairy Paint and Potluck, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 12, in Marshfield at the University of Missouri Extension Center in Webster County.

“This meeting is a gathering for those who generously keep the farm and community running,” says Reagan Bluel, MU Extension dairy specialist and Women in Dairy program leader. “This is the season to celebrate together, forward-looking for success. Ladies will paint a holiday canvas and enjoy a potluck lunch. Let your creative side shine.”

“Don’t worry if you’re not an artist,” says Chloe Collins, the new dairy specialist for MU Extension in Wright County. “I’ll lead you step by step through painting a cute holiday cow. It will be great to see everyone’s smiles.”

The MU Extension Center in Webster County is at 800 S. Marshall St., Marshfield. To register for the free event, call 417-847-3161 or go to https://extension.missouri.edu/events/women-in-dairy-holiday-paint-and-potluck.
