2024 Cattle U award nominations and call for education open

Cattle U 2024 is set for June 25 in Manhattan, Kansas, at the Hilton Garden Inn. Cattle producers are encouraged to submit their picks for Cattle U Cattlewoman of the Year and Cattleman of the Year by May 1.

Nominations can be submitted at www.cattleu.net/2024-award-nominations/. Winners will receive one-night hotel accommodation, a one-year subscription to High Plains Journal, editorial coverage in HPJ and recognition on stage at the 2024 Cattle U event.

The program planning process is underway for the educational sessions that will be offered at the 2024 event, but HPJ staff welcomes suggestions from attendees on topics, speakers and other ways to improve the event.
