Grand Drive in Aggieville set for April

The Grand Drive in the ‘Ville is set for April 6 and takes place in the heart of the Aggieville Business District in Manhattan, Kansas. The top six prospect market beef and breeding heifers will compete to be grand champions of the Aggieville Showdown.

Pre-event activities include a cattle showmanship show at the Riley County Fairgrounds at 7:30 p.m. April 5. The fairgrounds will be the site for the breeding heifer and market beef shows beginning at 9:30 a.m. April 6.

The Aggieville Business Street will be open to the public at 6 p.m., followed by the grand drive at 6:30 p.m. Selections for market show and breeding heifer champions will be announced as well as showmanship winners. The official after-party and concert at the Yard Bar begins at 9 p.m. Live music will be presented by singer Jake Jacobson.
