Prescribed burn plan training sessions are being planned in four locations in Kansas—May 28 in Russell, May 29 in Marquette, May 30 in Burlington, and May 31 in Manhattan.

All of the sessions are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will learn how to optimize land management practices with prescribed burns and how to properly create a burn plan. Information will be presented by the Grazing Lands Coalition and Natural Resources Conservation Service.

The event is tailored to landowners, ranchers, producers and burn contractors.
