The Kansas State Fair attracted 328,714 attendees over 10 days, highlighting its continued success in celebrating Kansas culture, agriculture and entertainment.
The first Saturday saw a turnout of more than 51,000 visitors, the highest in six years, followed by more than 56,000 on the second Saturday. This year’s Nex-Tech Grandstand concert series also saw its highest attendance since 2015. The demolition derby set a new attendance record with 2,947 fans.
The 2024 fair, which was in Hutchinson, offered many attractions, including the 25th anniversary of the Grand Drive Junior Livestock Show, live free stage music, midway rides and a variety of food and commercial vendors. Guests explored Kansas’ history through agricultural displays and educational exhibits.
