The next Broadwater County Rancher Roundtable is coming up at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at The Lodge of Townsend.
Topics for this program focus on cattle health, with two speakers lined up, including Dr. Julia Herman. Herman is the beef cattle specialist veterinarian with the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. She will discuss vaccine technology, specifically addressing mRNA vaccines. She will also discuss issues related to herd biosecurity.
A local veterinarian from Chuteside Veterinary Service will also be speaking to discuss fly and parasite control as well as pesticide resistance and how to avoid it with your herd.
