Western Nebraska – We just finished here and it’s time to move north to South Dakota. The wheat in this area yielded average. There’s so much row crop here this year. It’s cornfield after cornfield. I hope there will be way more wheat acres all across the Midwest next year.
The majority of our crew is in Montana cutting wheat. We’ll be going to the Dakotas to cut spring wheat. It’s not quite ready yet but maybe by the time we get there it’ll be ready to be harvested. This is my favorite part of the wheat harvest run. I’m looking forward to moving north and being in the Dakotas!
