Meat judging team crowned international champions
The 2025 Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Department of Animal Science Meat Judging Team earned international champion honors at the Intercollegiate Meat Judging competition in Wagga Wagga, Australia, held July 8 to 12.
The team was the only United States group invited to compete and attend the associated conference. Grace Real, Krum, Texas, also earned the title of overall high individual.
Throughout the week, the team connected with Australian producers, attended educational sessions, toured local sites and trained for the competition.
