Happy discernment year 2026

Here we are in 2026 and strangely enough, unlike the last five years, it doesn’t appear that most people are saying, “Man I am glad to get that year over cuz I know the new year will be better.”

The new year will not be better in most any regard, speaking of the economy and quality of life, in my opinion. Individually, we will find a way to make what is most important to us more of a priority, but forget the optimism, 2026 is going to be unlike anything we have experienced yet. I am going to share a couple of examples here of the information that is going to be really hard to sort out.

Let’s start with the dominance of artificial intelligence as China is now using a drone police force already and we could be right behind them. My concern is biblical: Discernment. Each of us will be required to implement more discernment about the truth than we could have ever imagined.

Here is a case in point. I don’t mind telling you that I have been taking a nitric oxide supplement every day for 19 years after I met Dr. Nathan Bryan in Chicago. He was speaking at a meat conference talking about the essential aspect of nitric oxide for human health. Keep in mind, this is the time frame when processed meat products were getting hammered with “nitrite free” and somehow we allowed the talking heads to demonize the most essential element of healthy living. Nitric oxide is essential for cardiovascular health.

So here is where I would normally go pull some statistics and share with you how the trend has been dire. But, instead I am going to just ask you: Are people around you experiencing more or less blood clots, stroke and heart attacks? There is no question that we have serious problems so should we keep doing what we are doing or get back to listening and sorting out the truth. Nitrates and nitrites are essential for human health.

Just as a quick history lesson, before food was refrigerated, we used salt for preservation. What is it in the salt that makes that work? Actually it is the nitrates. Yet we are told they are bad for us and the dreaded blue baby syndrome could occur. I clearly remember flying to Denver and driving home after meeting Bryan. At Sterling, Colorado, I spent the night and went to breakfast in the hotel the next morning.

On each table there was a warning about the water because it had been deemed dangerous by the Environmental Protection Agency at 11 parts per million of nitrates. Anything above 10 ppm and the regulators force a boil order. It occurred to me on that day that eventually we would see the day that food and beverages would be “enhanced” with nitrates as a marketing tool. Have you seen the athletes who are drinking beet juice? That is for the nitrates. The problem is that the feds haven’t caught up with science.

I try to avoid AI searches unless I am making a point. For this discussion I searched AI and learned the water quality of the United States is at risk because of “nitrates.” So I did another search about nitrate levels in mother’s breast milk.

Here is a glimpse of the query results:

Mothers’ breast milk contains nitrates, which are essential for infant health, supporting cardiovascular function, immune defense, and gut bacteria by acting as precursors to nitric oxide (NO).

I get asked more today than ever about taking a nitric oxide supplement. The follow up question is if I see a difference or if it is preventive. Let’s just say this. The people in my family who do it with me have not experienced any reason to see a medical doctor, how about you? I going to chalk that up to making a difference. Yet with what we know about human health, I predict that right now you are going to see more buzz than ever before about farmers contaminating soil and water with one of God’s greatest molecules for essential plant and human health. For heaven’s sake, the earth’s atmosphere is 78% nitrous oxide, any further questions?

So if you are ready to up your health, use some discernment to find the research and take action.
