Scholarships offered for Nebraska ag students

University Nebraska-Lincoln's Agronomy & Horticulture Department

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Agronomy and Horticulture Department offers several scholarships for students pursuing studies in agriculture, crop, or plant sciences. The scholarships offer $1,000 for freshmen or sophomores and above pursuing agriculture, crop, or plant science studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Scholarships include Dennis Thompson Crop Improvement Scholarship – $1,000 for freshmen pursuing agriculture or crop science; Nebraska Seed Trade Association Freshman Scholarship – $1,000 for incoming students planning studies in agriculture, crop, or plant sciences; and Nebraska Seed Trade Association Upperclassman Scholarship – $1,000 for sophomores and above pursuing agriculture, crop, or plant science studies.
