The Texas Wheat Producers Board and Association, Amarillo, has released the 2026 Texas Wheat Variety Guide, a free, farmer-focused resource providing data-driven information to help inform planting decisions for the upcoming season.

The guide is a result of a collaborative effort between Texas Wheat and Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension. Compiled using data from more than 20 statewide variety trials, the guide presents unbiased performance data from every major wheat-growing region in Texas.

The guide serves as a trusted resource for comparing varieties and evaluating their performance across diverse growing conditions. In addition to variety trial results, the guide includes the Texas Wheat Grain Variety Picks List, which is developed annually by Texas A&M AgriLife.
