Pesticide education classes planned

Colorado’s Southeast Area Extension has announced pesticide continued education classes including three in-person pesticide license recertification workshops.

Seven core credits cover laws and regulations, pesticides and their families, applicator safety, public safety, environmental protection, and use of pesticides. Classes are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., March 9, at the Walsh Community Building; 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Home Ec Building, Lamar; and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., March 11, at the Administration Building; Ordway. Also on March 10, Category 103: Agricultural Weed Control will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Home Ec Building, Lamar.
