The Oklahoma Home and Community Education Genealogy Group is offering a free genealogy workshop at 10 a.m. Sept. 16, at the Oklahoma County OSU Extension Conference Center, 2500 NE 63rd Street, Oklahoma City.

The workshop will help participants who work with DNA matches on testing sites such as Ancestry or My Heritage. DNA matches are people that have also tested their DNA and have DNA in common with you or they could be close or distant relatives, known or unknown to you.

The OHCE Genealogy Group is focused on helping each other in their search for their ancestors, their family history and family stories. No registration is required. Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication or program information or reasonable accommodation need to contact Lisa Hamblin at [email protected].
