A historic Kansas ranch where forestry, conservation and agriculture have shaped the landscape for more than a century will open its doors to landowners, natural resource professionals and forest enthusiasts this fall.
The Kansas Forestry Association is hosting its field day Oct. 22 at Woodland Ranch near Courtland. The event brings together forestry professionals, landowners and conservationists for a day focused on Kansas forestry.
This year’s field day offers attendees a firsthand look at practical woodland management, conservation and utilization through educational sessions, live demonstrations and opportunities to connect with others who care for Kansas’ natural resources.
