John Deere 7R tractor update

John Deere, Olathe, Kansas, announced updates and new options for its lineup of 7R tractors that offer driving performance during transport and maneuverability with heavy front implements or at slow speed. Updates include new reactive steering and increased steering capacity. These mid-year updates for 2023 7R tractors benefit commercial hay growers, livestock producers, and row-crop and small grains farmers. They are an ideal size to maneuver around tight spaces such as barnyards or they can be easily paired with John Deere planters or tillage tools for work in the field. Other available steering options include ActiveCommand Steering 2, which reduces the amount of steering input required in field applications, for improved operator comfort and prevents oversteering when a quick steering reaction is made. John Deere has also partnered with PTG to offer a central tire inflation system for select 7R Tractors as an allied agreement. This system helps operators ensure tire pressure is optimized, regardless of the task at hand. For more information, see a dealer or visit www.johndeere.com.
