Dunlap Feeder cattle auction report
The Dunlap Feeder Auction, Dunlap, Iowa, reported receipts of 2,544 head selling on Feb. 2, compared to 3,532 head a week ago, according to the USDA-Iowa Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Des Moines, Iowa.
Compared to a week ago, feeder steers were selling mostly steady while feeder heifers were selling weak to $5 lower. Steers made up 63% of the sale and heifers made up 36%, with 83% cattle over 600 pounds.
