Compared to a week ago, steer calves were selling $3 to $6 lower. Heifer calves were selling $2 to $6 lower. Quality was average through attractive. Demand was moderate. The supply included 18% over 600 pounds with 51% heifers. Slaughter cows were selling $3 to $7 lower. Slaughter bulls were selling $8 lower. Packer demand was moderate at best. A total of 270 cows and bulls sold with 49% going to packers.
