Rainwater harvesting workshops start April 5

High Plains Water District  is hosting a series of workshops in April to share rainwater harvesting and outdoor water conservation information with area residents. The cost of each workshop is $20 and is payable by cash or check at the door. The first 25 to register for each workshop receives a free rainwater harvesting barrel, courtesy of HPWD. Please note: One barrel per household will be available.

Workshops will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the following locations:

April 5—Cole Community Center, 300 N. 16th Street, Canyon, Texas;

April 12—HPWD Office, 2930 Avenue Q, Lubbock, Texas; and

April 19—Mallet Event Center, 2320 S. U.S. 385, Levelland, Texas.
