Women in Ag Meeting will be April 24 in Osborne

Come and join us for the annual Women in Ag program that is scheduled for April 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Osborne at the old high school gym.

Our featured guest this year is Chef Alli, whose mission as a self-proclaimed kitchen crusader is to make certain everyone gets “stirred up” about cooking and food. She has become a household name to many who have watched her on her weekly TV appearances or attended one of her speaking engagements or cooking classes. She is also on Facebook and online at www.chefallis.com. She will be sharing ideas on preparing and planning harvest meals.

Also speaking will be Ashley Svaty, K-State Research and Extension, Post Rock District, Nutrition, Food Safety and Health Agent, who will share Food Safety Tips.

Dinner will be provided. There is a $10 fee per person to attend. Please RSVP by April 13 by calling or stopping by the Osborne County Conservation District Office, 1117 W. Hwy 24, 785-346-2128, ext. 3.

Program sponsors include K-State Research and Extension-Post Rock District, Osborne County Conservation District, Osborne County Farm Bureau, Osborne County Farm Service Agency and the Osborne County Natural Resources Conservation Service.

The event is partially funded by the Osborne County Community Foundation and the Osborne County Farm Bureau Board.

Share with your friends and make plans to attend this fun-filled evening of networking and fellowship.
