Winter wheat condition rated 2 percent very poor, 17 poor, 61 fair, 20 good, and 0 excellent.
Spring wheat planted was 2 percent, well behind 72 last year and 50 for the five-year average. Oats planted was 2 percent, well behind 65 last year and 54 average.
