Compared to the June 4 sale, feeder steers and heifers were selling steady to firm on limited comparable sales. Trade activity was moderate on moderate to good demand. Much needed rain across the drought stricken panhandle boosted spirits. Slaughter cows and bulls were trading steady to $3 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls made up 6%, 1% replacements and 93% feeders. The feeder supply consisted of 58% steers and bulls, 42% heifers. Approximately 60% of the run weighed over 600 pounds.
