Laue scholarship winners announced

Brooke Falk of Harveyville and Braden Draper from Ford have been awarded Douglas A. Laue Memorial Kansas Livestock Foundation Scholarships of $1,500 each. Falk, the daughter of Brian and Mona Falk, will be a senior at Kansas State University this fall. She is pursuing a degree in animal sciences and industry with a pre-veterinary medicine option. Draper, the son of Neal Draper, is entering his junior year in animal science at Fort Hays State University.

The Laue Memorial Scholarships are offered to students entering their junior or senior year at K-State or Fort Hays State University and pursuing a degree in agriculture. Laue was a long-time member of the KLA Cattle Feeders Council and served as its chairman in 1991-92.
