Join KARTA for Ag Tech Expo
The Kansas Ag Research & Technology Association will partner with the Kansas Department of Agriculture and the Kansas Water Office to present a unique workshop event in Goodland, Kansas, on Aug. 29. The schedule of events includes great information, vendors, free food and prizes and a benefit equipment auction.
The Ag Tech Expo will be held at Northwest Kansas Technical College
Aug. 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mountain Time.
Events from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. are at the Union on the Northwest Tech campus, and events from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. are at the Tech Farm at 1303 E. 8th, Goodland, in conjunction with the Water Tech Farm Field Day.
There is no charge to attend. RSVP is requested by Aug. 24 to allow for adequate food and materials.
The expo will showcase the latest agriculture technology products and services and offer current updates about water awareness. Participants will get an overview of the tech farm at Northwest Kansas Technical College, hear how producers adopted new technologies and how they work in their operations.
Visit with exhibitors and see some of the technologies in use. Door prizes will be given away, and the day will end with a benefit auction hosted by Big Iron. Proceeds will be going to local FFA programs and the precision ag tech program at Northwest Tech.
