The P&K Equipment, Inc. team, Enid, Oklahoma, has acquired Grissoms, LLC, a neighboring John Deere dealer with five locations throughout Oklahoma, including Prague, Shawnee, McAlester, Muskogee and Ada.
The new locations will join P&K’s 13 existing locations, which include 11 in Oklahoma and two in Arkansas.
The addition of the new locations will further solidify P&K Equipment’s position as the largest John Deere dealer in Oklahoma.
P&K Equipment began operations in the five new locations in July.
Scott Eisenhauer, P&K general manager, said, “The Grissom family has a long history in the John Deere business going back over 50 years, and we’re excited to continue their successes. We look forward to having their customers, community partners and employees join the P&K Equipment team. Expanding P&K into these new communities across central and eastern Oklahoma, our number one goal will continue to be providing the highest level of customer service with a sense of urgency in all aspects of our business—whether that’s sales, parts or service. For the transition and the many years to come, we will strive to create a positive P&K experience for all who interact with us.”
Keith Grissom, along with many Grissoms, LLC employees, will stay on after the acquisition. P&K plans to keep much of the same team intact through the transition.
“This is a great opportunity for us,” Grissom said. Added Eisenhauer, “Similar to our P&K locations, there is a hometown family feel at each of the Grissoms stores. We want to keep that going.”
As a John Deere dealer, P&K Equipment has over 30 years of experience working with and supporting a variety of customer segments, including agricultural equipment, residential and commercial lawn equipment, commercial worksite equipment, golf and turf equipment, as well as governmental equipment.
By joining Grissoms, LLC with the P&K team and further expanding the central and eastern Oklahoma regions, P&K plans to fully support each of these customer segments in the area.
Founded as a single-location dealership in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, in 1985 by Barry Pollard and Wendell Kirtley, the team has grown to include locations throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas and Iowa (operating as P&K Midwest).
An acquisition price was not announced.
