Vet tech is living her dream in emergency care

Chrissy Starkey, Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture graduate, recently helped deliver bulldog puppies via C-section as a veterinary technician in an emergency hospital. A fast-paced month after her college commencement as a veterinary technician, Nebraska native Starkey is settled into a new home and a new job. An associate of applied science degree from the University of Nebraska-NCTA put Starkey on course to sit for a national exam in the near future and possibly become a credentialed professional in three states.
