Tulsa feeder cattle sale results
Tulsa Livestock Auction, Tulsa, Oklahoma, reported receipts of 2,676 head selling a week ago, 1,321 head trading March 15 and 206 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Compared to a week ago, steers were selling $4 to $9 higher. Heifers were trading $3 to $7 higher. Quality was good. Demand was good. Supply included: 91% feeder cattle (52% steers, 45% heifers, 3% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 18%.
