Tulsa feeder cattle sale results

Tulsa Livestock Auction, Tulsa, Oklahoma, reported receipts of 1,291 head selling a week ago, 2,419 head trading March 29 and 1,401 head selling a year ago, according to USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Compared to a week ago, steers were selling mostly steady to $3 lower. Heifers were trading steady, both in a light test. Demand was good. Quality was good. Supply included: 81% feeder cattle (31% steers, 54% heifers, 15% bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 pounds was 27%.
