Free USDA webinar for Missouri sheep, goat producers

University of Missouri Extension in St. Clair County, Osceola, Missouri, will host a free “Ask the Experts” webinar for sheep and goat producers from noon to 1 p.m. March 26.

“Sheep and goat producers will be able to ask USDA experts about agricultural programs and initiatives available to them,” said David Brown, MU Extension sheep and goat specialist.

Experts from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency and Natural Resources Conservation Service will discuss programs such as Act Now, the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program, Emergency Livestock Relief Program, Sheep Production and Marketing Grant Program, Grassland Recovery Strategies and more, Brown said.

Guest speakers include Joe Aull, state executive director, USDA Farm Service Agency; Jamie Kurtz, state grassland specialist, USDA; and Paul McDonald, state program specialist, USDA.
