Sheltering program to conclude in May

The Disaster Recovery Temporary Housing Program, established for Iowans affected by severe storms, tornadoes and flooding in April, May and June 2024, will end on May 14.
The program was created to provide a temporary sheltering option for eligible disaster survivors as they pursued long-term housing solutions. Since its inception in July 2024, the program has provided households with a safe place to live while they work on home repairs and other housing solutions.
Impacted Iowans are eligible for the Disaster Case Advocacy Program. For more information call 515-675-1884, email [email protected] or visit iowa.gov/assistance.
